"And where it goes, nobody knows."

I accidentally ran into a Times UK article today that I pass along here,
just in case there are those who haven't run across the info yet.

There's not a lot to say about this one, really. The fast skinny on it is
that while working a crowd in Albania, George W. Bush Jr., President of the
United States and so-called leader of the free world, seems to have had his
watch stolen. This in spite of the fact that he was surrounded by Secret
Service agents.

You can make up your own mind by clicking on the above photo and watching
(pun intended) the video on youTube.

I don't think there's any doubt about it. If you watch the video all the way
to the end, you'll see Bush with his arms up into the crowd facing the camera.
And there's no watch at that point. So unless he stopped somewhere along the
way and took it off (and I didn't see where he had time to do that), the watch
was definitely stolen.

I'm not a guy that would encourage crime or criminals, but to be perfectly
honest I'd like to find the person that lifted Bush's watch and buy them a
beer or two and pat them on the back.

I think that when the revisionist histories come in about a hundred years
from now (assuming we humans are still around), that Bush is going to loose
a lot more than his watch.

Gee, I wonder what time it is. Hang on, let me check my nice Kenneth Cole
watch that I have here on my wrist.
Hmm, it seems to be 2:04.

Ha!
