Late afternoon Sunday I felt the need to get out for a while. The
temperature was cool and the skies were sunny all day. The buffaloes
roamed and I imagine that there were a few antelope playing out there
somewhere too — although I must confess I didn't really see any
buffaloes or antelope on my walking trip. But they did come to mind.

Spokane is mainly a city of tall majestic pine trees. But that doesn't
mean that we don't have a percentage of broadleaf trees. And on Sunday
the trees were really starting to go through their Fall transformation.
