Toting a heavy salesman's case full of weapons brochures, and using a
handkerchief to mop his brow of the sweat accumulated under the hot
desert sun, President George Bush Jr. visited the Middle East this past
week to try to get a new career going.
Bush now has only one year left as President. And, as it turns out, the
line "defended democracy and invaded several countries" doesn't look
quite as impressive on a resume as it seemed it would. So in order to
get some real experience in his pocket before he joins the rank of the
unemployed, Bush made a tour of the Middle East to sell U.S. weapons.
This was the first time in his seven years of office that Bush had visited
the region diplomatically. Because GOD KNOWS THERE HASN'T BEEN MUCH
GOING ON IN THE MIDDLE EAST RECENTLY…
