Once again, just some stuff I've found
on the internet recently but didn't use
for any posts. Usually for good reason.
If you've ever wanted to be buried in a
pauper's grave in a cheap pine coffin just
like Mozart, you can get this authentic
Austrian one at Casket Furniture. You could
even go Mozart one better and spray paint it
some spiffy color — my personal choice would
be candy-apple red.
You can also get a billiard table made out of
a coffin there. Just in case you were in the
market for that type of thing.
The theme music is almost worth the visit alone
— it's a VERY old bluegrass number called
"Oh Death" sung by Ralph Stanley of the famous
Stanley Brothers. Here's a bit of it:
Oh death, Oh death
Won't you spare me over til another year?
Well what is this that I can't see
With ice cold hands taking hold of me
Well I am death none can excel
I'll open the door to heaven or hell
Kinda hard to dance to. But what can you
say about those beautiful, mournful,
old bluegrass songs?
I think this was an actual book — though it's
sometimes hard to tell on the internet. Evidently,
the book had to be pulled from bookstore shelves
after animal rights groups protested. It's a shame
to see the old traditions die out, ain't it?
And I have no recollection of where I got this
one (honest!) but it extended somehow from the
Cat Juggling site.
A cool photo of Aleister Crowley.
And of course after that Crowley shot, we have
to have one of Anita Ekberg as Mrs. Satan.
And I might as well throw in one of Claudette
Colbert as Cleopatra, just to make it some
really weird threesome. I'm sure Crowley would
have appreciated that.
It's tough for me to imagine the totally hilarious
Claudette as Cleopatra. "Hey, bring me that snake!
— Ha! Just kidding! Bring me some more wine!"
FYI, the pagan orgy starts at midnight. I'll be
wearing my best toga. And Fairuza Balk will be
dancing naked with a snake — if I can talk her
into it.
From the strange and the unusual to 100% American
cheesecake — Marilyn Monroe in Korea, 1954.
Apple unveils its new computer.
Ha! Just couldn't resist!
At least it has the QWERTY keyboard. I've seen
some of those really old ones that don't.
As usual with the Junk Drawer posts, I conclude
with a really sleazy photo of some celebrity.
In this one it's actress Julianne Moore, who I
can only guess is preparing for her upcoming role
in the movie "Boogie Night Ninjas."

how on earth did you manage to make a group out of all these??The amazing thing is I was anxious to see the next and then the next and at the end I was sorry it was over! :lol:I am going back for another look for kicks! by the way I was talking to a man that was telling me his wife is a pagan, I asked a neighbor before I google it and her advice was "Never talk to this man again , Never!! " 😆 After a short research I did realize why she was so protective! To me not all pagan groups are involved in activities that rumors have them happening :)and Christianity has many concepts based in pagan practices including the day of Xmas, the crucifix, the Xmas tree…I am about to pollute your post again ! :p sorry.

No, that's quite all right. You are of course right about the pagan influences. And I don't think that groups like Wikka are evil or anything. I was just joking, of course!Crowley and the Order of the Golden Dawn were very famous (infamous) and also very influential in England back in the day. A lot of famous people belonged to the OOGD at one time or another. And then you have P.A.G.A.N. — the group that they had in the movie Dragnet with Dan Ackroyd and Tom Hanks. Now that one was hilarious!

:)I was very surprised to see the connections of Ostara, pagan, and the newest religions. The whole research was done out of curiosity, nothing to do with following one or rejecting the other. I was entertained and informed on things that I see and experienced all my early years and I never questioned. I did not see Dragnet,or if I did, I do not recall. I need to look into it tonight after I will be back from the ceremony for my kid's award. I am leaving in 30minutes or so. See you after your nap, if not ,I will be visiting your home anyway…10 new posts are waiting !

" in a cheap pine coffin justlike Mozart, you can get this authenticAustrian one at Casket Furniture. "I had a Guatemalan girl in my office,Myrna the name. She wassmart, bubbly, always hungry(she ate all my lunches from the refrigerator 😆 ) and at times she looked that she was over whelmed with work. I wanted to understand why a bright girl like her was not able to finish tasks that an average mind was able before her…After monitoring how much she had to do, I realized that 2/3 of her time was spend on in Importing caskets. All from Guatemala and all the faxes she was sending had some weird measurements. I never knew before that they were so many sizes on caskets. She did stop working on that business of hers(or I believed she did)from my office. Then she met a rich banker and she buried her ambitions , she became a Mrs. Outsourcing even our caskets! Imagine that!

Every time I read and watch one of these posts from your hand – or rather your keyboard – I feel my universe has been expanded. I am not sure in which direction and not sure if it's in any useful way either. But it's damned funny – and that's a quality in itself.
