I am SO sorry Deb. I didn't even realize…

Being a sexist and all, I must admit that I find it sort of out of balance that you'd turn a page in your average weekly and find a girl wearing clothes that would cover less than they'd show; but you'd never find a picture of a man with his testicles showing… Why is that?

You might just be right, Ed. You might just be right. More research needs to be.. you know the rest.

Don't know. I think they shrink when they're photographed?

I used to have that phrase linked to an F hot-key. 🙂

Do you mean to say that I've been working in those fields for two days now – and it ain't even spaghetti I'm growing? You should have told me. It's no fun pulling a guys leg like this. One thing's for certain – I'm staying home tomorrow. No more commune-stuff for me.
qlue said:
So YMCA is out then.
edwardpiercy said:
I thought you WERE our main spaghetti man, Allan! But I'm not "on site" to judge, so mainly you haven't been working the spaghetti then? I hope you will reconsider. LONG LIVE THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL COMMUNE!Okay, we need some sort of First International song here. And, PLEASE, NOT the Village People.
edwardpiercy said:
"In the Navy" would have been my first choice. But that doesn't sound too agricultural. Neither does YMCA. Although I guess they are sort of communal — 😆
qlue said:
We can always use 'Universal Soldier' by Donovan.Or perhaps, "Gold Watch Blues" by the same artist. Both are anti establishment albeit not agricultural
edwardpiercy said:
Okay, I've been doing a bit of reseach. There is this one, though that's mostly about herbs. Then there's this one here, which at least deals with tomatoes; it also has a nice militant air that I think would be good for the First International. Then there's this one. Which doesn't have anything to do with agriculture but shows two girls naked in a bathtub. I just happened across that so I thought I would throw it in. That's all I've got so far, but I'll be looking into this further. "More research needs to be done in this area." Especially with regard to the naked girls in the tub stuff.

How about "Everybody Loves a Nut"?Seems appropriate somehow.:D

Just what are you saying…???

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me…

If we are to make a commune, we really ought to get a few things straight.Like who will do the dishes on Wednesdays? Clean the toilet? That stuff is important. I suggest that I will be the chairman. I'm good at such stuff.
Aqualion said:
Nuts? Well, we don't have to worry about running out of nuts, do we? In fact, I believe, we might just have enough nuts for a case…:DI vote for Allan. I'll volunteer to do that naked girls in the bath research, then. I most certainly find that area of science important and relevant. For the common course, that is.
ricewood said:
For that naked girl job I volunteer, even thopugh I am techically the chairman in charge.I can and will make exceptions.

I'm sure a workable and mutually acceptable plan can be arrived at, once we put on our chicken hats. And, for those who are not so inclined, a duck hat is available.
Aqualion said:
We'll need a headquater too. I'd need a place to park my 100% sustainable and organic Aqualion Mobile. Runs on pure carrot oil, by the way.
ricewood said:
Knitted carrot topped hat kit. Anyone volunteering?
edwardpiercy said:
Martin, that's a great vehicle. I imagine it like Supercar. Except the carrot juice part.Allan, I think that is a great hat — one that should be worn by some person who holds some very special position in the Commune — like, Chief Carrot Hat Wearer. Maybe like that.
Aqualion said:
Afraid I spend all my money on carrot oil, Allan. Think you might like this one, Ed… Also sustainable. Same concept as a bicycle, basicly. You'd find them in Odense, home of H. C. Andersen.
Stardancer said:
I'll be Chief Carrot Hat Wearer. But only in the winter. Too hot in the summer. I'll have to have Assistant Carrot Hat Wearers for the other seasons.

A non-profit organization. Sounds great!Give me all your money, and I will share them between us all according to our individual needs.

as a member of the fic, i'd like to propose we form a not-for-prophit organization. there are legal rules and we can gain by conforming, imo. mr (self-appointed) chairman, i'd like to head the committee for establishing this organization (internationally-known). if i may . . . . i'm hungry, anyone up for a green salad and french fried tator tots?
1bluebox said:
may i suggest you spend your money on you first martin. the rest we'll get when you are finished making that wonderful stuff you make . . . . now, what is it called?
Aqualion said:
This is getting too complicated for a simple guy like me. I'll let you run the business. Just tell me how to spend my Five Hundred Million Deutschmark.
1bluebox said:
oh noooooo, i don't want to be the chairman of the FIC, only the chairman of the committee of the not-for-prophit organization. allan is still the boss and a well-deserved title it is. i'm not in charge, i just act like it most of the time (i am a woman). i defer to the power of allan in this matter, that is why i asked permission to head the committee. now, on with the matter at hand . . . . no carrott oils, only dirt and water — there must be a formula for making oil from two simple elements! where is our host scientist/chemist?
Aqualion said:
This puts me in a tight spot.I know Allan. He's a good solider and a stand up guy. I'd trust him with my life. I really would…Deborah on the other hand is a woman. I am educated to treat women with unconditional courtesy. Thus I am caught in the middle. And, by the way, fresh out of carrot oil.;)PS: I have money. For all I know, I am the only one who can prove as a fact that I have money. Just go visit my weblog, and you'll see for your self. Now… Cut the BS, please, and show me your money…
1bluebox said:
that is why i should chair the committee for non-prophit. i don't need your money, if you have anything to give we as a group will use it to benefit the FIC.would you like to contribute? would you like to be a memeber? shall i add your name to the list of contributors? what is it that you and your family need?please believe me when i say not-for-prophit martin, there is still good people in this world that can make it work as intended; even if the majority of people have corrupted the concept. 😀 i don't have carrot oil to drive with, darn; i'll have to use muscle or my dog who is as big as a horse!

I'm afraid I'm to modest to answer that question unconditionally, Deborah, but due to my upbringing I am obliged to respond. The stuff I make is called 'art'. Art refers to a diverse range of human activities, creations, and expressions that are appealing to the senses or emotions of a human individual. The word 'art' may be used to cover all or any of the arts, including music, literature and other forms. In my case the range includes drawings, tatoos, comics, paintings, sculptures, printings, photographs, essays, columns, articles, reports, short stories, songs and poems. Plus I play the drums in the genres of jazz, blues, pop, funk, rock'n'roll and punk.Basicly.It has not yet made me a rich man, and I hope it never will… But there are other riches in the world than digits on a piece of paper, as I am sure you know…Thanks for asking.;)

Art is also used as a cover by people who are to lazy to work. At least that's how I use the word. .Making fuel from mud is not possible. GWB will explain why if you ask him nicely. Solar power is cheap though.
edwardpiercy said:
Well, if I may say so, to all of you, I think that with the chicken or duck hats that it REALLY will work out all right. So, if I might just suggest something here, calm yourselves down and everything will work out as far as the carrots and milk and onions and playing card and such.
Aqualion said:
@AadilI'm not saying your wrong, but art can be hard work too. I've always had a proper food-on-the-table job along with my art work. I used to be a journalist, but got retired in 2003, due to dissability discharge. But I still work 'on the side' because I would get depressed if I'd have to stay at home all day.:left: Some artists are just plain lazy, though. I know a few. I'm cool, Ed.
Aqualion said:
😀 The Glorious Art of Idleness… Oh, yes… I master that one too.
qlue said:
Sorry, I just realised that my comment isn't very clear. 😆 .I meant that when I'm being lazy, I call it art. :left:
