And also here.)
I was on my old photography site today, Photosig, when I accidentally
came across the above photo by Claus Visby.
The photo amazed me, inasmuch as it could very well be a photo of my
character Brooke Pirelli, who appears in Dusk Until Dawn and several
of the short stories. She looks so much like her in the face, her hair,
and also the style of dress. The only real difference is that she is
carrying a big revolver instead of the .32 automatic that you might say
was Brooke's "murder weapon of choice."
In any case, the photo would make one hell of a great cover for my novel
— if I already didn't have one, that is.
yes it would make a dynamite cover.
@ Scott. You betcha! Of course, I might have to interview the model first…@ Darko.Well Darko, let's put it this way, the only revolver I have had difficulty holding, and I have average size hands, is the new Smith & Wesson .500. Which is very big and very heavy. I almost think I would really need a tripod to shoot the damn thing. But in general, I've been surprised to pick up guns that I thought were too big, but getting a few minutes with them they seemed much more comfortable. Besides, Brooke is a crazy little witch and if she were pissed I imagine she could handle even that S&W .500. :DAs for the revolver in the photo, it looks to me (and I'm guessing) to be some make of .44 cal with a 3" barrel. Which is a frigging cannon.
I wonder if she could aim successfully with this gun. Looks too big for her hands 🙂
I think I've fallen in love….
Well, Pat Maginess sure did.The photographer is Danish. So perhaps she lives in your area? :)I've heard that it is important for a photographer to stretch themselves every so often. I'm sure that working with a totally hot babe model would be a good way to do it.
sort of a lauren bacall pouty teenager.
