Detail of the Coeur d'Alene Casino,
Worley, Idaho.
Another exhausting trip to Idaho yesterday.
After the past 4 days I'm going to concentrate
on getting some rest today. Might just even lay
in bed and stare up at the ceiling all day.
The good news of the casino run though is that
I think it is now one step closer to going down
next Spring to Ketchum, Idaho and seeing Ernest
Hemingway's house and grave.
And, who knows, we might find time to hunt some
Morel mushrooms while we're there.

Well IF it happens — you'll hear about it all right. And be sure to check back for my post on how I crossed the street. :p
' seeing ErnestHemingway's house and grave. And, who knows, we might find time to hunt someMorel mushrooms while we're there."it sounds like a plan to me! 😮 I hope when it happens, we hear all about it!
Be sure to treat the subject of why you crossed the street with proper profoundity…*I don't mean to suggest you're a chicken. I have no valid evidence to support that. Quite on the contrary, I consider you a brave and strong guy.*
I will take that under advisement. I am sure that providing a few details like that would make it a longer if not more interesting post. And of course the use of images is important to catch the eye of the reader and put them in the proper frame of mind to learn about the street crossing..
Looking forward to details of your next trip, Edward.:DKnow why the Texan armadillo crossed the road?To prove it could be done.:rolleyes:Bad joke, I know, but have you ever driven the highways in Texas? Dead armadillos EVERYWHERE!:heart:
Err… so why did you go to Idaho this time? :left: :sherlock:
@ Star. 😆 Kinda feel sorry for them. Opossums can't seem to cross streets very well either. Can't somebody start some sort of training program for these animals? Like PETA or something?@ Darko. We went for cheap cigarettes. As usual. It's the only way I can afford to smoke these days given celestial Washington State taxes on them.
They know I smoke. And they don't say anything about it. Smoking causes Coronary Artery disease, and I don't have Coronary Artery disease. As far as breathing goes my lungs actually look remarkably clear. The problem there being that my heart isn't pumping enough blood for them to work well. Which affects my breathing. But if I quit, it would do pretty much nothing to improve that.
Ah, ok… Does your doctor aprove smoking in your case or I should not ask?
I have this sinus-problem, snoring, sneezing, f#¤%ing annoying problem, but the nose-doctor says, that smoking doesn't influence the sinuses, much to my surprise. Apperantly smoking is a lunge problem only, these days.
Unless, of course, Martin, you are allergic to the smoke as I am and was, just didn't admit it.
Can't wait to hear the crossing the street episode Edward. Hope you get a lot of good rest today. I'm going to try to get my car loaded with boxes and bags to take to the Goodwill or S. Army tomorrow (if I get it loaded) That's a very tiring and time-consuming job for me. This will be my fourth trip when I finally manage it, with loads of stuff I'm cleaning out of my house. Trying to get rid of anything I do not use. Need a glass, round dining table? :p I want the space it's taking up in my dining area. Don't use it except as a catchall and to show off my vintage linens
