For Halloween this year I picked me up a nice
girl to go out with.
Sort of an odd girl, though — in fact I had
to bring her back from the dead in order to
take her out.
And boy is my electric bill going to be huge
next month, I'll tell ya.
Happy Halloween![/I]
…and some infernal, Mephistophelean music to
fit the occasion…

Such a friendly waltz! 😀 I'd install some solar panels or a wind turbine if I was you, Ed. Woudn't want to get cut off at a crucial moment, would you? 😀
@ Richard.:lol:Baron von Frankenstein goes Green. :D@ Martin. The first thing I learned in my computer classes was to make sure the computer was plugged in. You'd be surprised how many IT guys get called in because the janitor has accidently unplugged the computer when vacuuming. :pSo don't feel bad. A couple weeks ago I was trying to find my cigarette lighter. I looked all over the place, twice. Then I finally looked down and THERE WAS THE LIGHTER RIGHT IN MY HAND.:lol:
Dammit. Because of you I just made a total arse of myself. I clicked your link, and wanted to play the clip. It came on but with no sound. I adjusted the buttons and checked the audio settings, but with no luck. I connected the spare headset and yanked the wires a bit. Nothing happened. Just the video with the woman beating the keys. Finally, I had to call for my wife. She just disconnected the desktop speakers which she'd been using (and I never use), and the sound came back in the earpiece. There you have it. The obvious solution is always the last one to pop up in the mind. Why is that so?BTW there was an old Dracula horror movie on the other night with Christopher Lee. I love him as Dracula. So… British…
Yeah. Like if you misplace something and look for it. It will always be in the last place you look. Why is that so?:D
😆 Funny how that works, Martin.
Don`t fry her :insane:
Is she going to waltz in that outfit? :faint:Happy Halloween!!
😆
@ Darko.Oh, that really wasn't my plan. :p@ Mags.Oh, that really wasn't my plan. :pOf course I have to give her a little room to pursue her hobbies.
😮
Wouldn't you rather waltz? 😆
Looks like some kind of "Fatal Attraction" thing there, Edward.:lol:Hope you had a great Halloween!
@ Mags.Waltzing wouldn't be bad. :D@ Star. She's just an exuberant girl who sometimes has to get out some spare energy. :pSaw the movie Friday night, Frankenstein Created Woman. It was one of four Frankenstein movies done by Hammer studies they showed on TCM. They've been showing old Hammer films every Friday night actually — I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

I figured you might be enjoying those movies. Haven't been able to watch a lot of TCM in October. They go heavy on the horror/thriller genres before Halloween, and I just can't watch them. Psychological thrillers don't bother me so badly, but most others give me serious nightmares.I'm glad you've been able to enjoy them, though. They're lots of fun for people who like them, and a fascinating movie type. And the make-up and special effects are usually pretty cool.:D
Edward, hope she was a lot more responsive after reviving than she looks in that photo. Everytime I see a black and white, or old horror movie, I think about you and Star.I've had no trick or treaters last several years. One good thing that can be said about living in a mobile home with siding rotting and falling off the walls—people think you're crazy, scary, too poor or all of the above.
@ Star.Last eye exam this afternoon. At least for a while.:heart:@ Linda.I was hoping for some. Last year we had 5 groups. This year only one group — the apartment manager's children. Lost of leftover Mike & Ikes if you want some. :p
This is the first year I didn't bother buying halloween candy Edward. I usually buy too much and have a lot to eat on for at least 5wo months. So I always bought candy that I liked, just in case.
Hope your eye exam went wonderfully, Edward!
