Well I got tired of waiting around for someone to buy a
copy of my ebook at Barnes & Noble to find out how much
royalties I make — something which wasn't clear in the
contract I agreed to.
So I decided to buy a copy of my own book.
Rather pathetic. But I did learn that off my retail price
of $2.99 that I will get $1.94. Which is pretty good really
— a much better percentage than I would get publishing in
paper book form.

Darko as far as I know it is only being sold the the U.S. and Great Britain. As for the format, it is EPUB format, which is viewable on most ebook readers like Kindle and Nook. Thanks for the support, though. Means a lot to me.
I wanted to buy it but it says that billing address must be in USA :left: What does that mean? And do they send me a printed version or I will have to download it and read on PC?
Oh. Ok, hopefully one day. I would really like to read your book 🙂
@ Martin. Uh….sure! LMAO.
Okay but if another earthquake hits Serbia and Darko becomes homeless you have to put him up at your place for a while, okay?:p
Soon my good friend Eddie will give me keys to an estate in the country and one of these:
Soon you will be rich and I can borrow money from you.
I checked out your ebook site when you first wrote about it. Since I got an unauthorized charge on my credit card, though, after buying something online, I'm spooked and paranoid about ordering online. May drag up my nerve and do it sooner or later.
I always protect my brothers. We are after all fellow Europeans, him and me. Soon Europe will burn again and we have to stick together. Soon the World will end and we will all die. Until then we commit to friendships.By the way: Please leave the keys to the mansion under the upside-down flower pot at the front door. And please buy extra toilet paper, I have the diarrhea real bad.
Cool! You're gonna be rich, Edward!:D:heart:
@ Martin.I'll make a note of that and inform "my people" to do that. Because we rich people always have people, you know.@ Linda. That's okay. I appreciate the thought. You can read it here for free in any case.In a related story, I downloaded the B&N ebook Nook reader for my Blackberry. It seemed to install fine. So when I bought the book I downloaded it to the phone and guess what — it won't open up for some reason. Even though a couple of their sample books will open up fine. So I'm going to have to get with B&N and find out what the hell is going on with that. Frustrating stuff. :(@ Star. You know it's like the bartenders always say about their tip jar — you have to "feed the kitty" — drop a few bucks in at the beginning of the shift to entice people to leave a tip. I've heard about people doing that with books. One person had a book come out and then traveled around buying up all the copies. They bought enough that the book somehow made the hot list or some best seller list or whatever and then all sorts of people came out buying it and they did indeed have a best seller on their hands. Not that that is going to happen with my book. Just thought I'd mention it. :p:heart:
:lol:You rascal.:D:heart:
Edward, it's probably something by your carrier or provider preventing it from working.. Don't know anything about cellphones. Speaking of phones —in the clinic yesterday, there was this little boy with his sister and mom. He and sister were squabbling over his phone. Guess what it was? He was about 8 yrs. old, maybe 9. The youngun had an IPOD Touch! Provided by his school! Mama said they supply each student with an IPOD Touch to use at home for homework, etc. Can you imagine???? Wonder how many of those things disappear once they get to the kids' homes?
Well, that's a drag. Even though I live not far from you , I can't buy it. Grrr.
