Well of course there's only one possible thing
that I could do for Val-entine's Day.

And to everyone else too, I wish you nothing but
the best on this day — friendship, affection and
(maybe, who knows?) even love.
Happy day to you and San, Darko! 😀
Happy Valentime Day, Ed. It is not common here, we live by different religious calendar (it is Sretenje in our calendar –http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presentation_of_Jesus_at_the_Temple – and also Serbian National Day), but people know and understand the signifficance of that day
Thanks
😀 Happy Valentine's Day, Ed.
PS Beautiful melody
😆 😆 You're going to put yourself back into the hospital! When will you ever learn? :pHappy Valentine's Day  and to everyone else too!!
Happy Valentine's Day, Edward!And you, too, Mags!

Well speaking of tsk tsk…look what I got yesterday…SENT Monday 2:10 PMHave a great Valentine's Day, Val! I am so happy they decided to name a day after you. It was too long in coming! 😉EdwardRECEIVED Monday 7:30 PMThanks very much!!!!! 🙂ValOooohhhhyeeesssssss!!!!!It was 3 words. But you know I figure that for a person who practices 12 hours a day, who has a husband and child, who maintains a tour and recording schedule, as well as all the little yet important things of life, that those 3 words were more like 3000.Frankly, I don't know how she finds the time to sleep. Maybe she sleeps between notes, yes, with that incredible brain of hers she just can sleep between the notes as she plays — unless the tempo is too fast, of course. :pOkay. Time to call 911 again. :p
… and conventional weapons won't harm her either!;)Cool with the message! I like that. I think that her actually answering shows she's got a sense of humour, and she appreciates the joke. She's just one of those ressourceful persons, Ed. My wife sings in a gospel choir, and the leader/director of the choir is like that. She is involved in everything from teaching at one of our country's finest song academys to charity in Congo. Her husbond, the pastor (sorry, he actually just graduated as minister), is the flegmatic and sort of laid-back type, and he sometimes gets absolutely confused on behalf of his wife. But she seems to be born to navigate cross spring tide, as we say in Denmark. That's what we admire most about them, isn't it? The artists and the women, I mean…:)

I like that! And of course there's another phrase that I'm sure that you have in Denmark too — "burning the candle at both ends." Maybe I'm just lazy, that could be it. I've already in the past days decided that I am superficial, so why not add laziness to the list of my good qualities? Because of course I have to look at them as good. 🙂
Hmmm. I'll have to think about that one. In any case it's probably better than looking at a gift horse in the ass.
Being island dwellers – Denmark is an archipelago, you know – we have lots of 'maritime' expressions in our laguage, some of them impossible to translate. Yes, we also burn the occasional candle in both ends, and we also never look a gift horse in the mouth. I've always wondered about that one. I have some experience with horses, and you should always be careful to look horses in the mouth, especially if they have bad teeth, wich they often have. Horses sometimes have extremely bad breath. Know what I'm sayin'? But why 'gift horse'? Because whoever wants you to have the horse knows it has bad breath, or what? I don't get it.
Okay okay, enough about teeth and horses! Let's get back to Valentina/Valentine!Oh nooooo! It's Valentino! :yikes:
"I do nothing for fun. I practice for fun."– Valentina Lisitsa in a Dutch interview.I guess that all work and no play makes a brilliant pianist. 😀
A hint: every year – one tooth :D:sst: I must be 30 then
Well, you can tell the age of the horse by looking at it's teeth, if you can focus with eyes running from the fumes coming from the horse's mouth. The only thing you can tell by looking the horse in the ass is whether the horse has diarrea or not, but then again you don't have to look directly into it's ass to establish that.
Wow! What a wonderful Valentina….oops….ValenTINE's Day present for you, Edward! I am so glad for you that she answered your e-mail. She must have a heart as beautiful as her talent!:heart:
