Just a brief while ago I went to get my morning
coffee. Just for something a bit different, I bypassed
my normal non-flavored powdered creamer and tried
some of my mom's Chai Latte liquid creamer.
I should have known better. I had made the same
mistake before using these flavored creamers and
knew the sheer folly of it, they make the coffee
taste like chicken poop. Not that I've ever eaten
chicken poop before, but I sure have smelled it
and I can well imagine what it must taste like.
Never again. And this time, I really mean it.

I will also bypass the Cow Pie Mocha flavor by International Coffees.:p
Ick!:ko: :ko:
It's a gas!! 😆
😆 😆 You don't own one of those Flarp thingies, do you? :p
@ Mags.Well I don't know what a Flarp is — so I guess not. 😆
Oh. That's good to know. After searching the internet I was thinking that it had something to do with the oboe. :p
@ Darko.Hmmm. Guinness Ice Cream. Gonna have to pass though. Will stick with the vodka jello shots. :pMy sister liked the idea, though. 😀
😆 :lol:Along the way here on MyOpera I`ve found this Beer Ice Cream recipe. I am not sure when I will try it though, but if you try that, don`t blame me if it has terrible taste :P"Beer ice creamTotal time: 20 minutes, plus freezing timeServings: 2 to 4Note: Adapted from Matt Schreiber, who adapted it from Antoine Westermann at the restaurant Beurheisel in Strasbourg, France.4 egg yolks1/2 cup sugar1 cup beer1 cup heavy cream1. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until they are pale and lemon colored. Bring the beer and the cream to a simmer in a heavy-bottom saucepan, then slowly pour over the sugar mixture, whisking constantly. Flavoured coffee creamer? That is just wrong, man. In another world I would be chasing down and killing the man who invented that, Minority Report style…
@ Martin.:lol:Well I hope you have those weird psychic twins to help you. They also might help you find the easiest way through traffic in rush hour.
Here, there is a photo too 😀 :cheers:http://my.opera.com/rose-marie/blog/2011/04/08/printers-patience-and-productivity?cid=60161482&startidx=50#comment60161482
Well actually those twins are a little better looking than the ones in the movie. So, whatever punches your buttons is okay with me.Three psychic astronauts. Like the Mentat navigators in Dune?
I take it, these are the twins you are referring to…Actually, I am relying on these guys…They have supported me in many other cases. Like finding life on Mars, recovering the self-respect of Britney Spears and stuff like that.
I have no idea. Saw Dune the movie, once, and wish I hadn't. Never read the books. Too epic to me.
Ah. Well in the movie the Mentat Mantra runs…"It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.":up:It doesn't refer to crystal meth or magaritas or sex — it refers to "the spice" found on the planet Arakis which is used by the Mentat navigators. Because of this they have purple lips from the drinking of the spice liquid. Which I have never been able to find over at my grocery store.I think it's a great book, and they did 2 different movies of it that I know of. As for the books, best not to go past the second one — after that it gets a little bizarre and boring. But the first one — a true classic.
Was going to comment, but forgot what the post was about.:D:lol::heart:
@ Star.:lol:It's about anything you want it to be about Star, when it comes down to it.
One of the best post titles I have ever read.
@ Naomi.Well thanks — I only wish I hadn't had the occasion to come up with it. 😆
