Trying.@ Darko.Oh I think there is no doubt she makes that piano her b****.:lol:Uh oh, there goes the classy part completely down the drain. :pBut you know I think that like the Karajan quote that there is something to be learned in that. Sometimes we let things — or the situation — control us, rather than control the thing — or situation. Of course some things are out of our control. "It's the law of the land, that sometimes the dam just breaks" writes Jenny Lewis. But for most things, I think it is true that our attitude and perseverance and the exercise of our minds is very important. We just need to keep hammering away at those keys.IMHO.
@ Star.Ah, thank you so much, Star. And I hope they do too — there's so much to be gained, and so little invested really — mostly just our minds and hearts, which come free of charge. You know I was just practicing and it occurred to me when I finished and was putting the violin in the case that for that I didn't need a cable internet connection or even electricity. It's like stepping back 400 years. And it's just perfect the way it is. Although I could do with a new bow and a new case. :p
My grandkids were taken to see Bob Seger in concert last night. My son posted short video clips of the concert on his facebook account, as well as some photos of the kids during the outing.I hope they love music–of whatever genre–as much as you do.
