Yes, when I have the money I like to go to one
of Spokane's better restaurants and order our
local specialty — the Big Pile O' Meat.
It takes a lot of A-1 Steak Sauce to get through
it all, I'm tellin' ya.

:lol:My mom and sister prefer another Spokane specialty — the Barrel O' Shrimp.
I would be happy to order that :chef: :sst: don`t eat any bread with it, bread just takes space in a stomack 😛
😆 I hope they sell steak sauce by the gallon in Spokane.
:lol::heart:

They do in fact. Of course when you go out for the Big Pile O' Meat the sauce comes free. :)Originally posted by gdare:
Yes, it most certainly does. Best to save the bread for the more normal giant Steak and Egg McMuffin in the morning. In any case it's all I can do to finish the Tub O' Vegetables that comes with all of it.
@ Star. When you visit Star we'll go out for the Plank O' Ribs.:p:heart:
That is a lot of meat and you know, Portabella mushrooms could be just a beefy in Tub O Vegetables…

@ DelunaHmmm. I don't know about Portabella mushrooms, but I did run into a place the other day that makes our chicken gizzards.I love breaded chicken gizzards. But I hate beef liver. Isn't that odd?
@ Richard. :up:I've been trying out something new lately…the Gallon O' Scrambled Eggs. :p
😆 😆 😆
I was thinking that the Mormons, who own my grocery across the street, were expecting End of Days or something, as they've been carrying Bomb Shelter type stuff like that for a couple months now.But then I learned that Mormonism has a requirement that every family should stock a year worth of food. I guess the rule dates from the old days, but you know given our financial times it really does make sense to have something stored away for lean times. You can also order it online. Shipping on up to $50 of goods is only $5.We've tried the Moo Juice — which is the only powdered milk I've ever liked, tastes almost exactly like store-bought fresh skimmed milk. As for the scrambled eggs they are a little yolky tasting, but good, and I can actually make an omlette out of them.
It's not a requirement, Edward, but it is inspired guidance. And it does make sense. One of my spare bedrooms has been converted to a food pantry. There was a time when my family would not have survived without following that guidance.:heart:

Sort of like having a savings account, except with food, yeah? Glad your family was smart!:heart:

It really is you know, but I can't blame you. I don't like beef liver either. I only do vegetable pate…:)
I make my own "poor man's patte" out of braunswager and mayonnaise. It's good, actually. Oh and by the way those were breaded chicken livers that I liked, not gizzards. I was momentarily confused. :p
