This is not a violin.
Well it's taken some doing, but I think I finally
found myself a violin teacher.
We start lessons as soon as Yonathan gets back from
the World Cup in 2014.

@ Darko.BTW you wouldn't happen to know what that song was in the "air violin" section, would you? It sounds familiar but I can't place it.
:lol:That was a hoot! Had me a bit worried there at first, though. Thought you'd done lost it and gotten yourself a cat! :yikes:Don't get me wrong. I like cats. Cats is good folk. But cats don't go with dog people.:heart:
@ Star.Well since I have a violin I don't need a cat. Cats have a tendency to squeak when you play them. :)
I don't know that for sure, I'm just guessing. :p

You mean, in "clasico melodico" lesson? I am not sure, I might remember it from some movie :left:
No it's the song in the Clasico del Rock part. You can't really hear it at first, but when he moves to his right over against the shelves the song becomes clearer. The tune in the Clasico Melodico section is what is usually known as Air on a G String by Bach, which was originally from some Cantata or other.

I think that's one of the greatest things about youTube — people just getting very creative in whatever way they want. Of course I would have to add that the video of the bat licking its own testicles was perhaps not the best way to get creative. But, hey, who am I to say? No, I don't think it's "Paranoid." My mind keeps telling me that it's some late 70s metal band. Sort of like Cheap Trick except I'm sure it's not Cheap Trick.
I am sure that is the voice of Ozzy Osborne, but I can't tell what song it is. My first thought was Paranoid, but I'm not sure.About the video: I am so comfortable when I watch these YouTube nuts. It means I am not the only one and it also means that I have an excuse for carrying on with making nutty videos.
That's the bastard that stole my sun glasses!!!!!!!!!!:ko: ๐ :ko:
They are just round black sun glasses. Like the type I am wearing to the left. Since they are not my prescription I have to wear them under my regular glasses which reduces the COOL factor quit I bit. If fact it is down right goofy. :p ๐ ๐
@ Carlo.:lol:I'd love to have a pair of shades like that. And maybe those gloves, too — what do you call those? Have you tried getting another pair on the internet? ๐

Ed, I think this is the kind of thing you are talking about. It may start in the middle of the video so you may want to start it from the beginning to get the full effect. It is perhaps one of the funniest vids I have seen. <http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=EVwlMVYqMu4&vq=medium#t=125>

Spot on. Too bad you chose the way of the samurai. You could have been a good sound producer with ears like that…
When I was a kid I had that old transistor radio, it made a lot of noise usually but some radio stations could be heard excellent. I knew every music show they broadcasted and would wait patiently to hear some of my favourite songs. I could recognise a lot of them after hearing first few seconds of them, even after long time.
Sunglasses! Reminds me of the sunglasses posts we were talking about doing, Ed. Remember? I have two pairs of original 60s tea shades, as worn by John Lennon, sorta like the ones you are wearing on your avatar picture, Carlo. One pair is in a yellowish brownish shade. They are really cool.Of all the cool sunglasses wearing TV/movie characters, I find this guy to be the coolest:
@ Martin.Still willing to do a shades post if you are, Martin. At this point I have about 4 pairs I could don. @ Darko.:)The transistor radio was a stable for us on beech trips, camping trips, and weekend cookouts. And then my mom always had a radio in the kitchen that she would usually have on. I guess one way or another, the radio was a big part of my early life.
:sing:The first thing I remember, I was lying in my bed I couldn't've been no more than one or two And I remember there's a radio, coming from the room next door My mother laughed the way some ladies' do:sing:

It's Simon and Garfunkel, Ed. A classic.I like this one.
Diamond and Fargunkel? Never heard of them. :pThanks for the link!
Martin, this is a nice song
Mighty Mike is a happy boy. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person a couple of years ago at the Horsens Blues Festival. My wife is into country blues, you know. He is just as cheerful and easy as he seems to be.And I guess most of us know what this song is about.
