Shocking proof that the original Stars and Stripes was
made at least in part using exploited child labor in
Betsy Ross' sweat shop.
That's just terrible. First slavery and then the Indian
thing and now this. I feel so ashamed being an American
sometimes.
And now that the subject has been broached I have a
confession to make: When I was a kid I was forced by
economic circumstances to get up at the crack of dawn
and deliver copies of the Indianapolis Star for a
mere pittance a week.
It was then that I realized that my destiny was to
become a revolutionary and go to Bolivia and
drink coffee like Che Guevara.
I never did make it to Bolivia. But I do drink coffee.
That's worth something, yeah?
:p
:lol:You poor thang. Had to work as a child. Tsk, tsk, tsk.:D:heart:
It was terrible, Star. Especially the Sunday edition.:heart:
:lol::heart:
Still on the Long March, comrade?
:lol:Well to be honest the long march got sidetracked a bit. :p
Yes, and Mao is dead:beer:
I don`t think he was drinking coffee from that cup. maybe some cachasa or rum or Cachaca 😎
:p

Good, good. As you can see, some weeks behind on my news feeds, on account of the lazy summer mood.
