Benaroya Hall in Seattle has now released the program for the Hahn/Lisitsa
recital next Monday. At first I thought that the program given last Spring
might be changed to include one of the sonatas of Charles Ives, which Hilary
and Valentina have just released on Deutsche Grammophon.

But as it turns out they are bringing even better things to the Seattle audience,
selections from the new In 27 Pieces: The Hilary Hahn Encores, new works by
new composers which will be given their world premier at the recital.

I have to admit though that I am still hoping that they do a last minute
program change and do one of the new Ives sonatas. Well, we'll see.
