Oh lord it's just 8:55 a.m. here and it's hot. I'm already melting.
Anything above 60 F degrees and I think the atoms of my body start
undergoing a nuclear fusion reaction. I could probably rent myself
out as a source of cheap power.
You know if I am going to be hot I want to be hot in a better spot.

😀 Glad you think so!It's gotten better. After I took out the trash and realized it is hotter in the apartment than iit is outside, I came back in and turned off the old AC unit and threw all the windows open. It has helped. Unfortunately had to shut down the laptop an hour ago as it was building heat. So phone only for the rest of the day. BTW I've figured out a few subtleties of the BeoPlayer. But still more to learn and the way it organizes music files is giving me fits. Nice sound, though!

With temps over 100 and humidity pretty dang close to that, it's been a bit warm here, too. I've been cooling off by taking cold showers–no hot water running at all–and it has helped tremendously in bearing this weather. Cools the skin enough that I no longer feel as if I'm in an oven.Oh, and Edward. A cold shower might not be a bad idea for you, either.:whistle::lol:Love ya' bunches, and kisses to Sasha!:heart:

It will go okay. The money spread over every year of V's life is not much to have great teeth, yeah? If she lives until 80 that would only be about $100 per year. I have plenty of hot water, Edward, but I'm only using it for cleaning at the moment. Just meant that I was running straight cold water for my showers to cool down–not even turning the hot water on in there. The water from our city system is warm enough without heating it up because of the temperatures out there.We just had some thunderstorms pass through that lowered our temps into the 70's, too. May have to pull out the flannel jammies for tonight.:lol:
Our local heat wave seems to have wandered off, and it's back to wind and rain again. To most of us, this is far more comfortable.About the Lily Cole joke. I heard a similar one.
