Happened to catch the trailer the other day for
the new modernized version of Shakespeare's Hamlet
starring Keanu Reeves.
The final duel between Hamlet and Laertes was
the strangest I've ever seen.
Rosencranz and Guildenstern just seemed to be
stoned most of the time.
"Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the
slings and arrows of outrageous fortune…"
I have to admit that the ghost of Hamlet's father
was very cool.

This looks to be very weird. Haven't seen Reeves in a movie in quite some time.I only remember seeing Hamlet played by Mel Gibson. He was actually quite good. I'm thinking Richard Burton played him too.
IMO the Kenneth Branagh one is the best. Long, though — he does the entire play, every single line of it. I can't think of any other versions that do that.
Holding out for Macbeth in the Matrix, are ya? :p

oh, p2 is my friend, Phantom 2 who is a professional drummer and he has a beautiful home on Caddo Lake on the Louisiana side. He drives fast boats and a fast motorcycle named Bertha and who knows what else, and he gets around, so I hope he doesn't run in to Mr. Segal in a law-breaking kind of way.

Speaking of movie stars===I saw Steven Segall on Jimmie Kimmel show last night. He has a new TV series coming up called "Lawman". And learned something I didn't know about him at all—-he is in real life a law enforcement officer, I believe deputy sheriff or something like that, in Louisiana! For REAL! Can you believe that? Wonder if P2 will ever run into him? Hope not!

@ Angeliki. At the hospital the other day I heard somebody use the term "blogged down." I guess that's what happens when you run into "blog hounds". As for my posts the past couple of days, it's the steroid medications they have me on. Seriously, they make me antsie as hell. @ Linda. Sheree really didn't punch a lot of my buttons but I thought she was a good pairing for old Chuck. That guy needed someone to take the stress out! 😀
